Along with Desire S, Incredible S, Wildfire S smartphones and two Facebook phones, HTC also introduces the FLYER 7-inch Android tablet. Unlike the Motorola XOOM, LG G-Slate/Optimus Pad, Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 that use Android 3.0 Honeycomb OS, the FLYER uses Android 2.4 with the tablet-optimized HTC Sense UI. The 7-inch tablet also includes the HTC Scribe technology and a magic pen that make it easy and natural to take notes, sign contracts, draw pictures, or even write on a web page or photo.

The HTC FLYER also features HTC Watch video download service and the OnLive cloud-based gaming service. Powered by a 1.5GHz processor, the FLYER comes with 1GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage. It features a 7-inch 1024×600 touchscreen, a 5 Megapixel auto focus camera, a 1.3 Megapixel front-facing camera, a microSD card slot. The device has an aluminum unibody design.
As for connectivity, the HTC FLYER supports Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, WiFi 802.11b/g/n and quad-band GSM/EDGE and 3G/HSPA mobile networks. HTC will release the device in Q2 2011.

HTC ChaCha and Salsa Social Phone with One-Touch Facebook Access

While INQ’s Cloud Touch and Cloud Q are the very first Facebook-focused smartphones with a social homescreen, HTC’s newly announced ChaCha and Salsa take a step further by offering one-touch Facebook access with a dedicated Facebook button for one-touch access to the key functions of the Facebook service that are integrated throughout the HTC Sense experience. Both phones run Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread.

The Facebook button on HTC ChaCha and HTC Salsa is context-aware, gently pulsing with light whenever there is an opportunity to share content or updates through Facebook. For example, when you are viewing a photo and you want to share the photo with friends, you can simply press the Facebook button and the photo will be uploaded to facebook instantly. Or let your friends know what song you’re listening to by pressing the button while listening to music on the phone. The track is automatically identified and shared on Facebook.

The ChaCha and Salsa are boosted by 600MHz processor, 512MB RAM and 512MB RAM. They come with a 5 Megapixel auto focus camera with flash and a VGA front-facing camera for video chat. The ChaCha will have a 2.6-inch 480×320 touchscreen and QWERTY keyboard, while the Salsa gets a 3.4-inch 480×320 touchscreen. Both phones support GPS, Bluetooth and WiFi and are equipped with g-sensor, digital compass, proximity sensor, light sensor, 3.5mm jack, micro USB connector and a microSD memory card slot.
HTC ChaCha and Salsa work with quad-band GSM/EDGE and WCDMA/HSPA 3G networks. They will be released in Q2 and will be available in the US market from AT&T.

Along with the Desire S, HTC also introduces the new Incredible S Android smartphone with a large 4-inch 800×480 Super LCD display. The phone also comes with a 8 Megapixel camera with auto focus, LED flash and 720p HD video recording, and a 1.3 Megapixel front-facing camera for video calling. The Incredible S has a contoured body and four capacitive buttons.

HTC’s new Android phone supports GPS, Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity. Other features include DLNA support for media streaming, G-sensor, digital compass, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, 3.5mm jack and micro USB port.
The HTC Incredible S will be shipped with Android 2.4 with HTC Sense in Q2. Unlike the Droid Incredible for Verizon, the new Incredible S supports quad-band GSM and 3G/HSPA networks.

At the MWC last year, HTC brought us the HTC Desire, this year at the MWC 2011, HTC announced the new Desire S Android phone.  Compare to the Desire, the new Desire S has no really big changes. HTC gives it a new all-black sleek unibody design with a premium aluminum finish, and bumps the internal storage to 1.1GB and RAM to 768MB. HTC also adds 720p HD video recording capability and a front camera for video chat.  Physical buttons are also replaced by touch-sensitive buttons.

The Desire S is powered by a Qualcomm SnapDragon MSM8255 1GHz processor. It features a 3.7-inch WVGA touchscreen, a 5 Megapixel auto focus camera with LED flash, internal GPS receiver, Bluetooth 2.1 and WiFi connectivity. The phone has micro USB port, a 3.5mm stereo jack and a microSD card slot. It supports quad-band GSM/EDGE and HSPA/WCDMA networks.
HTC will release the Desire S in Q2 2011. It will come loaded with Android 2.4 with HTC Sense UI.

In addition to two 4G Mobile Hotspots, Sierra Wireless also brings two new 4G USB modems, the AirCard 319U and AirCard 320U supporting Dual-Carrier HSPA+ (DC-HSPA+) and LTE networks, respectively. Both of them use USB interface. The former has a swivel hinge design that allows the body of the modem to be tucked up against the side of the notebook and protects it from being damaged by accidental bumps, while the latter comes with an articulating and pivoting hinge that works with the widest possible variety of USB port placements.

The AirCard 319U supports Dual-Carrier HSPA+ and offers download speeds of up to 42 megabits per second (Mbps) and upload speeds of up to 5.76 Mbps. The AirCard 312U LTE USB modem, on the other hand, provides download speeds of up to 100 Mbps and upload speeds up to 50 Mbps. Both modems can seamlessly switch to earlier network technology standards, including HSPA+ and its precursors, UMTS, EDGE, GSM, and GPRS; and the AirCard 320U supports DC-HSPA+ as well.
The Sierra Wireless AirCard 319U will be released on the Telus network in Canada in March and the AirCard 320U will be available in Q2.
